We are pleased to announce an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to connect AI (Artificial Intelligence) applications to HEPData. The initial release v0.1.0 of hepdata-mcp is available from PyPI and Docker Hub. Credit to Giordon Stark for the suggestion and especially to Mohamed Elashri for rapidly developing an implementation last weekend. Feedback and contributions to hepdata-mcp are welcome.
